Grassroots Backing for Former South Carolina Governor
Last Wednesday saw a significant increase in support for Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign, with thousands of emails pouring in daily. This represents a remarkable 185% to 233% surge, depending on the day.
Over the past six days, the campaign has received an impressive total of over 6,000 emails, all expressing strong support for Haley. Messages from supporters highlight her as the “only chance for a normal political leader” and plead with her to “please do not quit!”
Haley’s campaign spokesperson, AnnMarie Graham-Barnes, shared with Fox News Digital, “Our campaign has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of grassroots support from across the country. The political establishment is trying to coronate Donald Trump, but Nikki has never listened to the establishment. She listens to Americans, and their message is clear: Nikki is the last one standing between the Trump-Biden rematch that 70 percent of people don’t want to see.”
The emails received showcase the diverse range of Haley’s supporters. One individual from Minnesota, identifying as a center-right Republican, expressed concern about Trump’s polarizing nature and the need for a presidential candidate who can appeal to center-left voters. Another supporter, Elly B., originally from a “blue state” but currently residing in a “red one,” praised Haley’s management skills, youthful vigor, and understanding of the country’s needs.
Monica L., who braved the New Hampshire cold on election day, emphasized her refusal to vote for a Democrat and urged Haley to stay in the race. Cooper C., a longtime Independent from California, even re-registered as a Republican to cast his vote for Haley. Similarly, Josh D., a registered Independent leaning Republican in North Carolina, pleaded for Haley to continue her fight, asserting that regular people do not want Trump or Biden.
Continued Determination to Challenge Trump
As the former U.N. ambassador and the sole significant rival to Trump, Haley secured an impressive 43% of the vote in the New Hampshire primary. Determined to press forward, she has vowed to carry on her uphill battle, at least until Super Tuesday in early March.
Looking ahead, Haley’s home state holds its primary on February 24, marking the next major contest on the GOP calendar. With the overwhelming grassroots support she has garnered, Haley’s campaign is poised to make a lasting impact in the race for the Republican nomination.
