Donna Kelce Reveals Plans to Watch Super Bowl in the Stands
Donna Kelce, the mother of NFL star Travis Kelce, announced on Wednesday that she won’t be cheering for her son from a luxury suite at Allegiant Stadium during the Super Bowl. The reason? The exorbitant prices.
“Well, you can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multimillion dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box,” Donna Kelce shared with a laugh during an interview with “Today.” She continued, “I have a feeling I’m in the stands. As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”
The Suite Experience Group listed online prices for “Premium Loge” seats ranging from $180,000 to $300,000, while the “Owner’s Club” suites begin at a staggering $1.8 million. Some reports even claim prices are higher than that.
Donna Kelce isn’t the only football mom experiencing sticker shock. Lisa McCaffery, the mother of a veteran running back, expressed a similar sentiment on Olivia Culpo’s podcast, “Your Mom.” “We looked into a suite and none of us can afford it,” McCaffery stated. “Not even Christian, money bags over there — nor money bags Olivia.”
However, McCaffery’s fiancée surprised her future mother-in-law with a social media post, revealing that she had purchased a suite for Lisa’s birthday.
Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl Attendance Uncertain
On a separate note, there is speculation about whether music sensation Taylor Swift will attend the Super Bowl. The 14-time Grammy award-winning artist is currently in Japan for her “Eras Tour,” which has resumed with four shows at the Tokyo Dome. Swift’s Tokyo concerts are scheduled for February 10.
Due to the time zone differences, there is a possibility that Swift could make it in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs defend their title and aim for back-to-back Super Bowl victories.
