Biotech Entrepreneur Embraces “Haters” and Spreads Empathy
Bryan Johnson, a prominent biotech entrepreneur, has recently faced a wave of criticism from notable figures like Elon Musk for his extravagant antiaging regimen. However, Johnson remains unfazed by the backlash and even finds it amusing.
In a recent interview with Fortune, Johnson expressed his surprising love for his “haters,” stating: “I love the haters. Love them. I welcome them, I embrace them, I appreciate them spending their time to comment. They’re standing up, they’re speaking up, they’re not apathetic. I love everything about them; I wouldn’t change a thing.”
Clapback at Elon Musk and Embracing Empathy
One of Johnson’s most notable critics, Elon Musk, received a witty response from Johnson, who humorously referred to himself as a vampire in comparison to the Tesla CEO. Despite the banter, Johnson emphasized his empathy towards others, acknowledging the struggles many face.
Johnson stated: “I’m deeply empathetic to people. I talk to many people in the world, and I’m not sure that many people are thriving with their own mental health and wellness.”
Blueprint for Longevity and Unconventional Practices
Johnson’s quest for longevity led to the creation of his program called Blueprint, with the motto “Don’t die.” He follows unconventional practices, such as drinking wine with breakfast, rigorous daily workouts, and an early bedtime.
Johnson welcomes feedback: “For those offended or confused by his routine, it sounds like Johnson welcomes your feedback — and any engagement it brings to his content online.”
