Six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach prepares for upcoming game
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick made it clear that his main focus is on getting his team ready for their upcoming game against the Kansas City Chiefs. In an interview on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show,” Belichick stated, “I’m really focused on trying to get our team ready to play Kansas City.”
Belichick’s comment came in response to a playful remark from the radio hosts about getting spare tickets to the game. Brushing off the remark, Belichick remained steadfast in his dedication to preparing his team.
Belichick’s admiration for Taylor Swift
While Belichick’s attention may be solely on football, he has shown admiration for pop superstar Taylor Swift in the past. Earlier this year, the renowned coach attended one of Swift’s concerts and praised her for her performance despite the pouring rain.
“That was pretty impressive,” Belichick commented during the WEEI show. “She’s tough, man. Just stood out there and played right through it.”
In addition to her resilience, Belichick has also acknowledged the budding romance between Swift and Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce. When asked about it, Belichick humorously remarked, “Well, I would say that Travis Kelce has had a lot of big catches in his career. This would be the biggest.”
Belichick’s current focus
Despite his appreciation for Swift and the intriguing romance, Belichick’s primary focus remains on his team’s performance. With a record of 3-10 through 14 weeks, the Patriots coach is laser-focused on game-planning and securing a victory against the Chiefs.
As the season heats up, Belichick’s attention is directed towards the field rather than the world of entertainment. While his thoughts on Swift and her relationship may be intriguing, they take a back seat to his commitment to the game.
